heurisko bug no. 6078

This applies to heurisko 6.0.0 and higher.

Symptoms

The acquisition module acq_fire crashes.

Cause

The module is linked with FGCamera.dll of the AVT FirePackage. AVT has confirmed that all versions of this DLL from 2.5.0.6 (FirePackage 2.8.1) through 2.6.0.3 (FirePackage 2.9) are incompatible with all other earlier and later versions.

Workaround

Because acq_fire.dll of heurisko 6.2 and 6.3 is linked with libraries of FirePackage 2.9, that version of FirePackage must be used with that versions of heurisko. All other heurisko versions cannot be used with the FirePackages 2.8.1 and 2.9.
